“Use your smile to change the world; don’t let the world change your smile.”
Chinese Proverb
Smile.
This is what I remember when I think of Ethel. Her lovely smile. Her smile changed the world around her.
I remember the first time I met Ethel. She filled the room like a breath of fresh air. All smiles and so very cheerful. I warmed up to her immediately. This is saying a lot about her wonderful personality.

And for those of you who do not know me, you must understand something about me, I take time to warm up to anyone. With Ethel, it was an instant friendship. It was a very short friendship for she went to be with the Lord on the 22nd of December, 2020 but it was a cherished friendship.
She touched the lives of so many people. I am humbled and so blessed that I got to meet her and call her friend. She was simply wonderful.
She was a beautiful soul. That was Ethel.
She was an embodiment of hope, love, peace, joy, good cheer & faith. Faith is what she lived. She truly radiated the light of God in her life.
When I heard she passed, I cried because I will miss her dearly as will everyone whose life she touched.
She fulfilled God’s purpose here on earth and now she is with God.
Let’s celebrate her life with a smile.
